Quick Breakfasts

Brown Sugar or Maple Oatmeal

1/3 cup quick oats

2-3 teaspoons of Brown sugar or real maple syrup (can add more if you have a larger sweet tooth!)

cinnamon, fruit, and milk to your liking.

Place oats and sugar or syrup in a microwave safe bowl. cover with water. Cook in microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir each time time stops. It usually takes 1- 1 1/2 minutes to cook. Sprinkle with cinnamon add raisins, dates, etc. and milk. Enjoy!

Scrambled Eggs
Beat 1 egg with 1 tsp. milk in a microwave safe bowl. Add salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute in microwave. Stir. Cook in 30 second intervals. Stir each time the time stops. This takes about 1-2 minutes. Eat and Enjoy.


Poached egg. Crack egg into a custard dish. Salt and Pepper. Cover with plastic wrap. Bake for 1 minutes. Check egg then bake 30 seconds-1 minute checking egg until whites are cooked and cover yoke. Eat and Enjoy.

Yogurt and Fruit

1/2 cup plain yogurt (Dannon plain or Fage greek plain are the best)
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tbsp. Raw Honey
Mixed berries, strawberries, bananas, peaches, etc
Other options, chopped walnuts or pecans, oats(yes, you can eat oats uncooked! You can make this the night before and set in refrigerator to soften oats)

Slice fruit. Mix first three ingredients together and add fruit, nuts, or oats. Eat and Enjoy!
